Wheel covers?

These chrome wheels are called "chrome clad steel wheels" on the window sticker. It looks like the chrome part comes off, is this correct? If so it doesn't seem like there should be balancing weights on them.
Am I missing something here?

They should be using stick on weights on the inside of the wheel--if they continue putting them on the outside they are going to scratch the **** out of your wheels

Exactly what he ^^^^ said ... Not sure how they attached the weights to the plastic, but they may have ruined your wheels ... Go back, hit them with a stick, and never return ... They are morons ... Lol

you might be able to find new covers to replace the messed up ones I found them months ago on ebay but I didn't need them. But let me tell you its a job to get the old ones off and clean the rims for the new ones

I'd have them replace the wheels. They should know that weights don't go on the outside of those wheels.

Thanks guys, I'm not worried about maybe having a scratched cover. My concern was having the weights on the covers and how the tires would be out of balance if the covers were not placed in the exact same position.
I just bought the truck 2 weeks ago and they were already there, I noticed a slight bounce at about 68 mph. I'll go have them balanced and make sue they put the weights in the proper place.
