Getting wheel hop front and rear randomly starts about 45 to 50 mph. Feels more like it's jiggly through the frame / whole truck. I took it to the dealer and they said bad tires due to cupping. So I got new tires. Problem remains. Seems to smooth out now and then but comes back. Not sure what this is but not isolated to just one wheel. Maybe some bushing or maybe warped rotors, or pinion, or transmission? IDK..

When you say wheel hop, do you mean more of a vibration felt in the chassis of the truck?

Wheel hop generally refers to the phenomenon of the wheel actually departing the road surface while spinning. Think track bars on a muscle car.

I assume the new tires were balanced properly?

If the complaint is more vibration in nature, I'd have a real good look at the driveline parts. The front driveshaft on a 2012 Power Wagon is always spinning when the truck is in motion, in two or four wheel drive. They're common to have the double cardan joint wear and cause a vibration. Easy diagnostic step: remove the front drive shaft and road test the truck. It goes without saying to inspect the rear driveshaft as well.

It feels like an out of balance tire.. yes.. but they are brand new and just balanced obviously. However, the sensation is random and seems to be in the chassis somewhere... I can't pinpoint it.

I dont think it's that death wobble thing... Maybe the control arm bushings are wearing out? But it's all under warranty I think. So Ram should cover it. Truck is 2020 with just over 60K miles. you know how they try to exclude everything on a warranty.

Rotors: I was thinking the rotors could be warped and that's the problem. I recently had the truck in the shop as stated for the wheel hop / vibration and they found a rock in the rotor/pad area which caused a groove in the rotor front side and back. But they said they got the rock and that it was all ok, which I thought was a BS answer.

This is the 1st mention of this updated info. Folks are probably assuming you are working with the 2012 you are showing under your avatar. You should update that information, and also include anything additional info that might be required to help with the issue. ;)

Were they road force balanced?

Perhaps a belt has shifted in one or more tires?

Warped rotors would only be felt while braking.

You described it as random , so maybe not tires .

Have you tried driving in a lower gear ? To see iIf symptoms change.

Brake caliper holding occasionally ?
If you have a point and shoot thermometer , it would be worth checking rotor temps when it acts up.

Warped rotor won't come and go and will be *very* apparent when you hit the brakes.

Are you sure it's actually random or is it reacting to imperfections on the road? What's still stock and what's aftermarket?

Maybe a different dealer or go back and tell them to look at everything, drive shafts, wheel bearings., control arms , tie rods, etc.
A stone in a brake pad is not a problem if removed and the pad is not all chewed up.
That would not be covered on warranty.
I find it real strange that you would have cupped tires unless alignment is way out or you have a teenager doing donuts Sat. night ?

You don't have wheel spacers I hope.

so this problem existed before and after the new tires.
Road force balanced no.
Fair enough, Brother.
Likely that there is nothing up with your tires, but always good to consider everything.

But as said by others here, new tires don't necessarily mean balanced properly and without the possibility of a flawed tire(s).

Also, what are the date codes of the new tires as well.
Asked as some shops are known to move their old stock before new stock ;)

There has always been a shuddering problem at launch which I think could be associated to the brake control system. Not sure if a caliper is sticking... but one of my suspicions is a warped rotor.

no wheel spacers. The stone left a groove in the rotor front and back they said.

Aftermarket: Thuren 1.5 front level kit, Fox 2.0 shocks, rear Thuren spring spacer kit. 37s on stock wheels.

Are your track bars still oem? With the "lift" if your still on oem track bars, which thuren recommends replacing the front at 20k miles anyways, your front axle is shifted to the drivers side some and your rear axle will be shifted to the passenger side.
