The thread you've been waiting for.

This is for the more top trim non-supercharged versions; the 392, the SS and the GT. Stuff like Transmission, body and colors are your choice, but in the end, which of the 3 would you get and why.

Me, Challenger, just love how iconic it is, and how after all these years, it's the same car, plus while it's not a track warrior sports car like the other two, it's the most practical and you take people in without them knowing Yoga or pushing the seats all the way up (And believe me, in my old Mustang, took 3 others to places with me scrunched up all the way).

Did enjoy the Camaro SS when I had one as a rental in Cali 2 years ago, but Challenger is still my favorite

Id go with the Challenger just because I am a Mopar guy and they look pretty cool. Not much else to contribute on that one sadly lol. Never even driven one.

A good friend of mine just bought a 2019 Mustang Bullitt. He actually tossed me the keys and let me take it for a spin. I was shocked at how quick it was! Sounded so nice, revved to the moon and he got it with the Recaro seats which are just outstanding. That 6spd manual is so smooth too! Seriously made me think about looking at a mustang rather than just talk **** about them all the time like I have for years lol.

Mustang isn't bad, just owned the pre-facelifted EB convertible for 3 years, so it's more like time to try something new

Challenger hands down. I would go black with gray trim and powder coated wheels. I haven't liked the Camaro body style since the late 90's. To me the Camaro looks cheap and cheesy. The Mustang in my opinion looks pretty slick, but it's a Ford.

After spending a week with my dad's 17 GT convertible I have to say mustang. Ford has done an excellent job with it... Handling, performance, transmission, all of it was an excellent drive.

i chose Mustang too. probably nostalgic for me as a 1969 mustang fastback with a 302 boss was my first car in 1979. loved that car. i traded it 2 years later for an almost new 1981 mazda rx7 which was probably the worst vehicle decision i ever made. it got terrible gas mileage and i ended up blowing a head gasket and no one in my little city could fix the engine. a new rotary engine was i recall 4000 bucks. a hell of a lot of money at the time. i limped it into a used car dealer after filling the rad with water on the street just outside the parking lot and traded it for a mint condition cutlass 442. bronze, white leather interior. I drove that car like a madman. blew the motor and put in a performance shop built up 455 high output from a donor trans am. 500 ft lb of torque, stock. if you found new pavement, you could spin the tires until you took your foot off the accelerator. lol

I had several Camaro when I was younger, but at heart I am a Mopar guy.

GoManGo with black interior. 6spd with the 392. A good exhaust system and some wider rims and tires on the rear and I would be set.

I wrote that reply before I saw your next post about your Olds. Too funny.
Fox bodies were the apex of my generation for coolness, toss in IROC-Z’s, 300z, Mitsu 3000GT, Talon TSI and my beloved Shelby Daytona I detonated racing another badass, GMC Typhoon. I lost on a missed shift that culminated with cyl#3 eating the intake valve...gulp!
