Whipple Supercharged 422" Ram - 809hp/778tq

I havent posted any updates on our 2014 in a while, so I figured I'd put something up with the results. The truck is a 2014 with a MMX 422" stroker and a 2.9L Whipple Supercharger. Truck also has a Paramount Performance Built 8sp Transmission and 3400 stall tq converter. At 12psi on E85, we made 809hp/778tq to the wheels. Next phase is adding a coilover rear suspension and cutting the rear axle to clear a set of Mickey Thompson 31/16.50/15 Radials out back.

That's awesome. How much did the tranny cost? Any recommended updates to a stock 8 speed tranny vs. buying a beefed up one? Looking into a Whipple build and may consider tranny upgrades and forged bottom end if it's not a bank breaker and can take some more oomph.

Once your put the MT Radials on wont you be walking a very fine line between street use and track only?

Even in Texas that's gotta be squirrely in the wet stuff.

8HP70. I'm not aware of anyone that has successfully swapped an 8HP90 into any of the 5.7 or 6.4 cars/trucks yet.

This truck is a toy, so it will not be driven in the rain. The radials will only be for the track though. I have a set of 20x11 rear wheels with 305/50/20's that will be used on the street.
