I'm thinking about changing my headlights and taillights but I wanted to see some of what you guys had on you White Laramies. I was thinking about a smoke LED set but what are some good quality brands and what have you found to be junk?

Thanks for any info and Pictures

^^^I agree with above. Stock projectors are the best looking lights for these trucks in my opinion. Most of the aftermarket lights look cheap to me.

I agree the stock look great but I have an 09 so I was looking for an aftermarket that would give me the same look or will the newer work on my model?

I just installed them on my 11'. They should fit any 4th gen. All you need is a set of adapters from Retro shop.

I also have a Bighorn that came with quads and I swapped them out to OEM projectors. For me, it was a trade-off. The projectors look so much better, but with standard halogens in both, I'd say in my opinion the quads had better output. That being said, the projectors have more potential with the ability to upgrade bulbs without blinding traffic.

Thanks guys, will the tears work as well? Any year in particular I should look for? I'm brand new to the Ram world.

Any 09' + OEM projector will work, but you'll need a harness adapter. You'll find the projectors are quite spendy, and the adapters aren't chump change either when you total it up. Best is to keep an eye on Craigslist/FB Marketplace, etc.

I think the current projector headlight looks pretty good.... may be just to replace the lightbulbs to a more white/blue-ish color ones? I think that'd make the truck look very modern and nice.

Speaking of that, anyone would recommend a good-quality and long-lasting replacement white/blue-ish lightbulb for the current projector headlight?

Regards,

I’ve been wanting to put OEM projectors in my 2015 Bighorn. Were there any modifications or did they just go right in? I don’t currently have projectors.

They are a direct fit other than the required harness adapter which will include the resistors required to avoid the bulb-out message.

I'm sticking with my OEM lights. That's a great looking truck for a 2009.
