Whoosh on 1-2 shift with 8speed?

Has anyone noticed a whoosh sound on the 1-2 shift with the 8speed trucks?

I recently put on long tube headers and I really noticed it more than I have in the past.

Yeah these 8 speeds make all kinda weird noises depeinding on how warm the trans is. Sometimes they shift slower or faster... Would love to have control over it...

I notice it whether the trans is warm or cold.

It do it at all RPM and throttle positions?

No, just WOT. Or at least that's the only time I hear it I should say.

Yeah, I have it too with longtubes. Even at lower RPM I have it, not just WOT. Usually about 25% or greater TPS.

after putting the cat on i noticed it on a video we did then heard it today. noticed it 1st to 2nd, mines more of a clank sound or backfire-ish if that makes since.
