Whos runnin a cam?

Will have a 268 in hopefully end of the month. Seems like everytime I get a chance to get it something comes up that blows $500 out of my wallet at lest once a month (and Im not talkin about my wife)

From what I have read about the 268, it seems like a perfect fit for your truck. It is going to really move.

Yep the 268 is a mid range cam, and with the converter's stall it should put me right in the sweet spot.

That is going to be a killer combo. Are you looking to change converters? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere?

I wouldn't mind seeing if I can send the stocker in as a core charge and get a circle D with a 3000 stall instead of the 2800

Circle D is getting a lot of good press from guys who have been running them. Should be a nice piece to add to your truck. Are you going to do both the cam and tc at the same time?

No just the cam this time around since I already have the APS converter in there with a 2800 stall. I'll see about the circle d towards the end of the year after I have some track time with the future setup.

That is good, then you will be able to give us feedback on the gains from each of those mods seperately. Personally, I am intersted in hearing all about the circle d and how it performs for you.

Well I know the APS converter runs VERY nice right now, but if the circle d can reduce the drivetrain loss even more then I would be more apt to drop the aps for it instead and at a higher stall. I'll have to see where the funds are, maybe make it a christmas present.
