Hey guys, just joined! I just picked up my 2014 dodge ram express 1500 crew cab 2 weeks ago. Blacked out with rhino liner, hitch and chrome wheel upgrade.
I've built many cars and motors and have done my own tuning for EFI etc but for the life of me can't understand why dodge has the RPMS taking so long to drop after I blip the throttle. Normally I'F your in neutral and stab the throttle to 4k and release immediately the rpmS should drop immediately or quickly. However on my 5.7 Hemi the RPMS take much longer than I'm used to to drop back down to idle. Is it a factory thing?
Also in the process of HIDS in the bixenon headlights curtesy of retro shop canbus adapters. Going to partly plasti dip my chrome rims for a more custom look and got a muffler to throw on (alittle more growl! )
Love the truck! My dad has a 1987 dodge ram 8ft bed with a 3.9L V6 magnum and 5 speed kicking around!
