Wierd issues with my 03 any ideas?

I have a 03 quad cab 4.7, fantastic truck has 144,800 miles currently haven't put $600 into it for repairs. Last Thursday I was leaving work and it wouldnt start no clicking turning over nothing, my radio still worked the dinger dinged power windows all work but non of my gauges were up and my thermometer wasn't displaying. Kept turning the key on and off and finally gauges came up and it started drove it 4 days and it did it agin yesterday, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

check the ground and power cabels at the battery and where the connect. sometimes its the connector or the whole cable

This sounds like you have a corroded IPM. Pull it out and look at the bottom for corrosion. Sometimes it can be fixed, other times requires replacement.
