Will 6.1 factory SRT8 headers work on my Ram 1500 5.7?

My truck is making a slight ticking. I have not yet verified that it's the exhaust manifold, but it seems like it is at first listen. So I was thinking about the best way to address the issue and wondered if the SRT8 factory headers on my 2009 Challenger would fit on the truck? If so, would they bolt up to the 1500's y-pipe? I'd have no problem getting an aftermarket or custom y-pipe if needed.

If I'm going to buy headers, I might as well buy longtubes for the Challenger and put the factory SRT8 shorty's on the truck. At least that's the hope! :D

If you've never put long tubes on the cars, you'll learn every swear word in the book, lol.
I'd rather install 4 sets of long tubes on the trucks then one set of long tubes on a Challenger or Charger :Big Laugh:
There's conflicting reports about the 6.1 manifolds fitting on the trucks, supposedly the 6.4 Jeep manifolds will work, either way you're modding the Y pipe to fit

Thanks for the clarification. It was worth a shot...I'll have to give it some more thought I guess.
