Will a 18 cap fit on a 19-20 bed

I have a 1500 18 Laramie hemi CC with 6.4 bed and I want to upgrade to a 20 or 19 2500 I know my 18 leer cap will fit on a 18 1500 or 2500 even a 3500
But will it fit on the new body style bed

On the HD 25-3500's trucks yes.
1500's the 5th gen bed is slightly different. Narrower at the bed rail I believe.

And the 2019/2020 new body style has higher sidewalls so the 2018 topper will be higher than the cab.

2018 = 20.1”
2019/2020 = 21.5”

The 2019 and 2020 HeavyDuty has the exact same bed since 2010. Which since 2009 has been shared with the 1500 up to and including the 2019 classic.

It will fit the bed exactly the same.

HDRAMS.COM has a few people who have done it. The only issue being the cargo camera in the third brake light. But they said it fit fine .

Note: the 2019 2020 HeavyDuty is still a 4th gen in regards to the cab and bed. Nothing really changed except a few things with the frame as far as accessories from a 2010 to 2018 HeavyDuty. And obviously the front end and tailgate/rear bumper

I have emailed leer and have not heard a thing back from them it is just a huge investment and I do not want it to go to waste I bought the cap so the dogs can travel in safely in there crates.

Maybe you could look up on line, they should have a 1-800 number to call. I had a leer top on one of my Rams it was very good top.Just went on the site and you would have to call a local dealer ,you have to put your zip code in and they will give you the number. Hope this helps
