Will a 2019 Hard Trifold bed cover fit 2017?

Hey guys a friend at work is selling me a hard top trifold tonneau cover by Xcover for cheap. It’s brand new and still in the box. The only thing that is fits the new style body and I have a 2017 which is the older style. I called the mfg and they said it’s one centimeter longer? What are your guys opinions? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I did a quick search and there must be something more than 1cm difference in the beds. The covers listed for 2017 vs 2019 are different.
