Does anybody know how to mount a winch channel to a 96 Dodge ram 2500? I'm trying not to have to make a custom bumper.

Never mind. Nobody answered so I spent 1-2 hours figuring out where the channel was supposed to be mounted... Then spent another 2 hours removing the bumper and bull horses.

Figuring **** out is half the fun of building trucks/cars/boats. I agree a DIY is in order. You installing an extra batt?

Some part numbers for you if you go new.

Battery tray PN 55275126
Battery hold down PN 55235142 need 2 pcs
Battery strap PN 55275220 Need 1
Hold down nut PN 6101308 Need 2 pcs

As you are adding a second batt in parallel I very much suggest you get two new batts same make, model, size and with manufacturing dates as close as possible. Never mix batts when running in parallel, it can be a very bad thing and cost you a small fortune in parts or worse.

Thanks.
And lucky me I just got a new battery so I'll pick up the parts and another one.
