Windshield Noise

I have an annoying sound coming from my 2014 ram. Its not a rattle or even a creak...its more of a rubbing sound that appears to be coming from the lower windshield. I can only assume its from the cowl cover. Anyone else experience this and if so what did you do so fix it?

I had this exact same problem in my Silverado. Turns out for a lot of people that had this, it was an aftermarket hood deflector. I had one on mine, and never got around to removing it to see if that would fix it.

Instead, I traded it in on my Ram!

the cowl cover is held on by those "christmas tree" style connectors. These give the cowl quite a bit of play. I am about to put some bolts in there so there is no play and test it out.. hopefully it is the issue, just to cold out to be messing with it.

Those come loose pretty easy if you fasten it down better it will help.
