Welp this is my luck. I just installed a Volant Cai (awesome BTW) and a firmware update bricked my i3 tuner (sent back for rma). And now when I press for windshield washer fluid the driver nozzle doesn't really spray anything and the passenger only sprays half way up the windshield.....

Monday afternoon i'mma pull it all out and see what it could be but I'm thinking either failing pump / broke t connector / clogged nozzles.

Any other ideas or things to check or stories to share?

Note I don't use rain x. I use the standard cheap blue stuff from any local store.

Actually no I used it one time on a 3rd Gen Dakota I had. It made a sticky/hard residue on my windshield and I drained it and never used it since.

On my 2014 R/T the windshield washers were shooting low fluid and I had the sprayers on the hood replaced.

My old Ford F-150 started getting a real weak stream and it was just clogged nozzles. I can't remember if cleaned them or bought new ones, but they're very easy to remove and you can try to clean them out, if that doesn't work just get a new set. I haven't looked yet but I assume you're probably are going to have to pull the insulation from the hood to get to them, I didn't have that on the Ford.

In fact the more I think about it I think I popped them off and tried to clean them and it still didn't work well, so I got new ones. You can pull the tube off them and see if you get a good stream, that will tell you if your pump is okay.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking I'm going to have to do aswell. Pull off the entire liner. Pull out both nozzles. Check there's a good stream then either blow air into the nozzles or get new ones. I know they're pretty cheap online.

My foggy memory is coming back now, I did try to clean them, I soaked them in CLR etc. and it just did not work. If I were you I'd just go ahead and order new ones. It's not like a straight opening you can clean out with a wire because it's a spray nozzle. On the Ford they just pop in place, and to remove just squeeze a couple tabs.

Alrighty figured it out guys. Had some extra time to look at it real quick and figured it out. My driver side nozzle broke off into the T connector.

I opened my hood and had the wife run the fluid and saw it just poor out the side. Took a hood insulation clip off and pulled it back to see the rubber T-connector just hanging there. Ordered a set of nozzles and a pack of clips (since the one broke of course) and they will arrive May 9th.... awhile but hey $20 aint bad.

In order to clear out the plastic in the connector I took a pair of plyers and crushed all of the plastic up and pushed it out with something small. In my case a allen wrench.

My problem now is that this didn't happen until I installed my CAI. Im afraid that somehow my CAI is in the way of the connector and broke it? I doubt it but anything is possible you know. When I installed my CAI I noticed that my hood shut harder. I figured the intake tube was touching the hood insulation ever so slightly. So in order to make sure it isn't my CAI im only going to take one of the nozzles and replace it and make sure everything works for a few days and hope that it was just all unlucky timing.

If it is hitting your new intake maybe you can do some creative rerouting of the tubing so it'll clear?

Update / FYI

Got tired of waiting for shipping from Amazon. Went to advanced had a 25% coupon. Got a set of doorman nozzles and 2 clips for $25. Not horrible but could be better.

So I went to replace the driver side. It was so brittle that when I out pliers on the nozzle it completely broke apart and fell in the hood (didn't see anything fall out nor any plastic moving noises so it's whatever lol). Got that one replaced. Sprayed the washer and found the passenger side broke aswell! Don't know how both broke at the exact same time.... Really weird.

Anyways got the passenger side replaced and the plastic cleaned out of the rubber L. Sprayed the washer and everything worked! Maybe a little too well... They sprayed way above and way beyond the each side of the truck. But did get the windshield. I'll run these for awhile since it's working but I'll probably get a oem Mopar set eventually. I don't like that it sprays the entire top of the truck.

I think those are adjustable.
