I am looking to add 4 lights behind my grille, and have them, along with my bull bar led light bar, come on with my brights. I already have 4 switches in the cab that I can turn the bull bar led light on and off with.

Is there a good way to start looking into wiring all of this up? A good way to add in expandability for future lights? I have heard about an extra fuse block, but I cannot find how to wire that up.

I would like to have an ability to add more lights that work when the truck is on, via a switch, and another set that work with the brights on/off. Is there a good way to do that?

If this is the wrong spot, mods please move it.

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have the answers you are looking for, but am curious about your bulbar with LEDs. Are they replaceable if something happens or do you have to buy a whole new bulbar?

I attached a Nilight 22 inch bar light to the top of it. I just pull it off and put a new one in. I added quick connectors on both ends so I can swap or remove it easily.

In my old truck I wired a marine fuse box and mounted it to the side of my existing fuse block. Had the + from battery to the new fuse box (with an inline 30amp fuse) and grounded to the frame. All my aux lights then passed through the marine box nice and easy with a single wire to the fuse box and each light grounded to the frame somewhere near the light

As far as having them turned on with your brights, you would have to tap into your signal wire for the brights to a relay but im not totally sure how this would work so hopefully someone else will chime in. I just have my switches next to the brights lever but since my aux lights completely drown out my highs i never use the highs anyways

I added a small fuse box to my truck.... I have it hidden under the drivers seat. I ran a wire directly from the battery. Then grounded it right under the carpet of the drivers seat with a self-tapper... Was very easy to do and works great.

It's pretty easy... get a fuse box, can order different types on line. I ran a wire from the battery, through the fire wall, under the carpet, to under the drivers seat. Get a self tapper screw and run the ground wire into the mental under the csrpet. Just insert a fuse of whatever size you need in the port, and attach a female connector to the end of the wire, of whatever you are running., and plug in to the corresponding port. I secured the fuse box, using 2 Velcro strips to keep it from bouncing around.

I like under the seat idea!
Exact same thing I did but had it inside the engine bay. Changing fuses at -30F sure is a pain lol
