Won't start in park.

Hay guys been looking around here and haven't seen anything similar so far but my truck won't start in park. Will start in neutral. Any suggestions? 2001 1500 2wd 5.2L AT

Maybe it's not fully engaged into Park. Even if the light is on my work f250 does this when he underside is really muddy and dry.

Truck doesn't get muddy. Checking the Park/Neutral switch is next.

My truck did this before I did the rebuild. The guy said its just a adjustment of the linkage
