Won't start

I have a 21 1500 limited 5.7
When i press the start button i just get a "click" noise. I put a new battery in, and it didn't make a difference.
Any thoughts??

Starter motor. Bypass the solenoid and connect with some heavy duty cable directly attach battery leads to starter moter.

Go to your knees by the drivers front tire. With a long breaker bar give a hardy tap on the side of the starter. Make sure not to hit the battery cable where it connects to the starter. Try the start button again.
Worked for me.
