1964 F100 Custom Cab 292 V8 (Y block) 4 spd trans ordered new on 10 31 1963 delivered 12 31 1963 built in the 4th week of November 1963, (soon to turn 60) by my wife's mom and dad. We bought it from them in 1980 with 47K miles on it. Right now it is in the garage with 99966.6 miles on it (soon to be new again). I and our son, started restoration on it in March of 2011 and called it complete in May of 2015. Although are they ever really done? It was a frame off restoration. Last year I removed the headers and went back to cast iron manifolds and I also have some classy wheels I put on it every now and then to dress it up a bit. It has been featured in Vintage truck magazine and there are some pictures of it in a book called The History of Ford F-Series Trucks 1948 to present. The building it is sitting in front of was the Ford dealer it was purchased from in Miles City Montana. There used to be 10 foot tall windows that wrapped around the corner down both sides about 20 to 30 feet to where the little windows are now. That was the showroom. I also have many hours into the BarracudaWe need more info on that toy, lol.Beautiful little truck
View attachment 530901Must be us old guys that like retro. Agreed I don't care for the plaid one bit but the rest of the pickup is gorgeous. I have never had a pickup without cab lights other than my 64 and would not have one without them. I guess that is the truck driver in me
I agree! 2 tone and chrome front and rear is the only way to go IMO. Painted front ends only get the crap rock chipped out of them and look horrible after one year. And what is there like 5 colors offered anymore? Dodge needs to step it up there are more colors in the rainbow than grey blue red white and black. It’s nice to see two-tone paint. Don’t see much of it anymore.
That's a beauty. I'll take one.Who would buy one? I would!View attachment 530873
And she designed a beautiful pickup. Minus the head rests of courseRemember that girl in high school that looked like she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down? Well, now she's a truck designer....
My thoughts exactly, especially regarding the p**p mobile.Oh I would pass on that on for sure. Looks like a cross between a 1970 Ram and a **** mobile.
I wouldn't buy one. I mean, it's not awful, but I don't like it enough to actually spend any money on it. And to echo others, those seats look like ass.Who would buy one? I would!View attachment 530873
