doesn't the 2011's have this mod built in already or do you still have to add it?

I love this mod and I feel it was well worth my time. I have been getting filters off of Rockauto and they are a really good deal.

ATP Part # TA4 Carbon $6.15 each <---------awesome price!

Apparently 11+newers have the space to put a filter in, but lack the snap-on door. Can't think why they would have deleted the opportunity to sell all these extra pieces to us Ram owners forevermore?
This will be my first mod.

Alright so mine isn't near as bad but after looking through my history, I found out that mine has been in for almost a year and I've never looked at it. I drive with the windows down a lot so that might be why it isn't as bad but I figured that a year of vegas weather would have looked a lot worse than this

Hmm maybe I should do this. Would it cut down all the dust that gets all over the dashboard, steering wheel column cover, and shifter area?

If you keep your windows up, yes. Winter is when my interior is the cleanest because I hardly have the windows down but once it gets warm outside, down go the windows and in comes the dust, lol.

Changed my filter out after about 6 months and it looked just like the picture the OP posted. Usually drive with windows up and seldom drive on dirt roads. The "boss" said she can tell the difference since I did this mod and the interior seems like it stays a little cleaner.

Advance Auto Parts has the Purolator cabin filters for $8.99 and Purolator has a $5 mail in rebate on them until 9/31/12. Advance also has Purolator PureOne oil filters on sale for $5 even and Purolator has a $6 mail in rebate on them making them FREE after rebate. Limit two of each per household. I bought two of each, just to good of a deal to pass up IMO.
