WTT My 2014 1500st chrom clads

I hate chrome! ! i'd like to trade wheels and tires with someone within a 2 hr drive of Bristol , Tn. , I have 22000 miles on tires , we could do this in a parking lot somewhere if you want , I'll bring all required tools to include Tq. Wrench .

My wheels are in excellent condition & I've rotated my tire every 6k , I'll post a pic after I get off wk today !

In a perfect world you would have 17" black aluminum wheels with stockers @ aprox 22k miles , I would be willing to $$ a litle difference based on what you have or
I have a extra set of 20" stock tires with a confirmed 3k miles on them I picked up from a member here a couple months ago that could go with the trade .


These pictures do the wheels no justice ,.they are filthy and.still shine like a champ !

Would you do an even trade on a set of painted black cinder block's? JK, good luck on your trade, I looked for a while and didn't find anything so I bought new.

I just seen a couple of for sale adds here with the item for sale was factory chrome clads .

I'm thinking I'm calling my wheels the wrong thing , mine are the Factory aluminum 20X9 with the chrome covers ... take a look at my picture below , what are these wheels commonly called ?

if you have the chrome clad covers, pull them off. the wheel should look nearly the same but aluminum underneath. go buy some new wheel skins/covers for them! I did for 100 bucks all 4 shipped to my door and I'm very happy with it. I can flip between black and aluminum and that makes me happy. I'm the white

nope I ordered these online so they came black and I just snapped them on!

So yor chrome ones you removed originally wer just snapped on as well ? And they are reusable too ?

I'm not doubting you sir ,but I've read where several has said the OEM chrome ones wer bonded on with adhesive and they destroyed them during removal and then had dificulty getting the glue off prior to snapping on the aftermarket ones like you have .

nope mine did not come with clads. I haven't heard anyone having issues with aftermarket but I assume it would be an easy fix to remove the glue with a rubber wheel or some elbow grease
