Projector headlights

- HID is the brightest but don't have a long life span
- LED is not as bright, but definitely last longer

Is the price or replacing the HID all the time worth the extra brightness?
What are you running as a HID or LED in your projector headlights?
Any military get a discount through a certain company?

I have the Xenon Depot HID kit in my truck, three years no problems. I had a Diode Dynamics HID kit in my previous ram that made it roughly 4.5 years and 70K miles or so. For me its less about the cost of replacing a burnt out bulb than the hassle of doing it. I don't think replacing the bulb would be that expensive unless you had to replace one of the other components.
