All:
We bought our 1st Asian vehicle in 2021. It's time for a coolant change (I do @ 5 years no matter what the OEM's tell us). So I dove into the great Asian Coolant color scheme madness and found it's mostly nonsense drive by Marketeers. Mazda's double-nought-secret FL22 Spec is just the same P-HOAT as all the rest. The colors are some kind of profiteering marketing gimmick. The only exception MAY BE Toyota, who continues to insist on their pretty pink coolant for reasons I did not investigate.

Here is Zerex written response to me today:

to me

Brian, thank you for contacting Valvoline Product Support with your question.

The only difference in our lineup of Zerex Asian Vehicle coolants is the dye used. The formulation is the same for all three variations and any of the three can be used, mixed, and are fully compatible with one another.

Thank you and have a great day!
