Getting the Zone 4 inch lift installed next weekend. Can't wait!! However i do have a question. I have the bilsteins in the front set at 2.1. Should i have the instaler lower it to 1.4 or will 2.1 level out the truck. I do tow a 21ft ranger bass boat so i would like to keep a bit of rack so i don't get the sag but i would like to be at close as possible to an even level.

I am also looking for a good hitch. Any ideas? The ones I have rattle when i go over bumps and it gets really annoying. Sounds like i have a broken truck when hitch is in.

If anyone has pic of zone 4 inch lift with bilsteins that be cool as well.

Thanks.

leave the rake, get airbags or switch out rear springs to variable springs. My 20 ft Lund drops the truck 2 inches. Imagine your tongue weight to be about the same. Neighbor had a 20ft ranger and, while it was heavier, tongue weight was not much different.

My Instert rattles too, drove me nuts. Pick up a torsioner. SImple nut and bolt, instead fo pin insert. Pulls the insert tight to the sides and stops it from moving aroudn and rattling. GOt mine from the local hitch installers but noticed even wally world has them.

Cheers
Dave

I've got Zone 4" with the 3" rear spring . . . My Bils are set at 0.7, and I am 1-1/4" taller in the back . . . 1.4 would put you just about level, and 2.1 would put you nose in the air . . . I wanted to leave a little rake also, so 0.7 setting worked for me . . . Make sure you spend the extra $10 to upgrade to the gas shocks . . . Pics are in my gallery
