Just installed my zone 6" lift on my 16 express, I went with the 6" front 3" rear coils and nitro shocks. D40N kit from zone.

Im getting a good amount of vibrations on acceleration from 55/60 mph up
unfortunately I didn't notice it until I left to go out of town for work and got on the highway so now im 3oo miles from home.

Not really too sure where to start.
when I got the truck aligned they said they were unable to adjust the front right passenger wheel too much (when I looked on the sheet they actually couldn't adjust it at all) so most likely I think its something to do with the passenger side front.

ill take some pictures of the lift installed in a little bit once I get underneath it and out of work.

Sounds like the alignment being out of whack is causing the vibration.

I would get a different shop to do the alignment first. But what wheels/tires are you running and if aftermarket, did you install hub rings?

Firestone told me my 11.5" wide tires were too much for their machine. I stopped going there because of that.

Just curious, why would you need to install hub rings with aftermarket wheels?

Because most aftermarket rims have a larger hub diameter. So they leave a gap between the hub and the rim... the rings are basically adaptors that fill the gap.

Any gap can lead to movement, to vibrations, etc...

Exactly what AustinB said below :waytogo:. It's very common for trucks/SUV's that don't have hub rings installed (with aftermarket wheels) to have a vibration/wobble at highway speeds. I come across that issue a fair bit on the forums and have experienced it myself with my mom's SUV back 7 or 8 years ago when we put aftermarket wheels on it.

Those would be rotated differently as required for the alignment. It shouldn't have anything to do with that. From what I can see all your front angles look fine. It's the rear pinion angle that I'd check. But after the wheel/tire balance and the hub rings.

It may be what madrock said and you might have an alignment issue. I previously installed the Daystar level kit and the Hell Bent Steel Level kit before I installed the Bilstein 5100s. I actually marked the location where the alignment bolt was turned before I disassembled my suspension. That way when I put the 5100 shocks on, if I put it back together in just about the same location, it wouldn't be way out of alignment until I got the the shop. And I got lucky. So, yea. It might be an alignment issue!

Any luck with getting another alignment? I go under the knife on Monday for my Zone 6 lift.

I had a Zone 6" Lift installed in March. In May, I noticed extreme wear on the inside of my two front tires. I took it in to get new tires and they discovered the truck was out of alignment. They spent 3 days trying to align the truck and found that only one inner tie rod end was cut (both are supposed to be cut 3/8" to 7/16"). After they trimmed the other tie rod end, it went back into alignment. If both are cut, the truck will never go back into alignment.
