I wish I could say that about my build. I've had mine on a flatbed a half dozen times and it became such a problem that I bought a AMA (AAA) premier membership because at this point I just expect things to go sideways any time I take it out.
I'm looking at buying my own flat bed tow truck or one like Ramp Truck the guys at Roadkill have. Been talking with a buddy of mine to just go in on one together with how many projects we buy sell and trade we need one.
Who did the rebuild, dealer or independent?
Large town dealer did it, I forget the exact part but it was a sketchy go from the beginning. took them 3 weeks to do it cause when the trans tech guru put it together they told me they had to reorder some seals cause they nicked the seal on the main pump or valve body. Then had to take t back 3 times to fix the pan that was leaking where they stripped 3 bolts and had to helicoil them to get it to seal.
My guess since I lost all gears not the usual 4/5 overdrive cluster, that they didn't get a seal right and I wasn't building the right pressures and slipping clutches or the TC let go, I never found out if they replaced the TC when they did the rebuild or not... that question never got answered.
Either way I am more serious now about getting the T-56 to work than ever. Time to start buying parts.
