Well guys im new to this I just bought a 2014 1500 quad cab with the hemi, I love it so far but I had to trade in my lifted grandcherokee and miss the ground clearance, my question is how hard will it be on my truck if I lift it 2"/3" and run 35s or wont it be any real difference or am i a full like my friends have said for not getting 3.92 gears. The only thing I tow is my 92 jeep grandcherokee rock crawlers every couple weeks about 2 hours one way

im assuming you mean you have 3.21 gears.

you can lift the truck without issue, your truck just isnt gonna move off the line without any sense of urgency lol.

3.21's are a highway travel cruising gear.

Honestly, I'd step up to a 4:10. 3:21's and 35's would be terrible.

Gear swap with the newer rams cost $$$$. Even more if its a 4x4. I read about $2,000-3,000. I have CC 4x4 with 3.21, don't think I am going to do a swap, maybe a tuner. $50 from the factory for 3.92 is worth it. You live and learn.

It should be around $1800 to do a 4x4 gear swap, but much of it depends on the area that you live in.

I keep looking at this chart and wonder why all trucks are not equipped with 3.92 or better with stock 33 inch tires?
