Sport/laramie dash swap

Was wondering if anybody has swapped the lonestar/big horn and below hard plastic dash top to the sport and above soft touch stitched dash top? How hard is it? And what are the parts numbers for the dash top and the gauge cluster trim piece?

The hard plastic dash just annoys me after both my genesis coupe and R/T having the soft touch stitched dash

So went to the dealership today and supposedly it's $1300 for the dash top and the piece around the gauges. Time to start searching Texas junkyards for a wrecked laramie lol

Another question, does anybody know if I can add the laramie chrome vent trim to my truck? Or do I need to replace both pieces around the radio since it looks like it's molded in?

Theres one on ebay for 600+ but its not in the best shape for the prices or worth it to swap in a dash thats not looking new imo . As for th radio bezel You need the one with the chrome vents on it all ready

Yea, this is silly expensive.

I was just looking at SEM to see about painting my a pillars so I can get a black head liner too.

I guess I could paint the whole dash if push came to shove.
I really don't like the black + 2 shades of brown.

I've actually been considering do the same thing! I think itd be nice to have your whole dash color matched!

Oh ok so the $1,300 was for the whole dash. I thought it was just 2 pieces. Not too bad then. Still pricey though. Thanks for the link, I'll keep an eye on ebay for them. And for the radio bezel with chrome vents

Yeah it is. But it's worth it if you hate the hard plastic dash and want the soft touch stitched dash like I do lol. If I do it it'll be in a year at least

I almost got a stitched dash for $400 but I decided not to cause I didn't want to take my dash apart lol.
