So i cleaned my AEM dry filter tonight with soap and water...

Stuck it back in and a while later went for a drive. I noticed my truck wasn't responding right at around 50mph so I turned around, came home and checked the filter. Turns out I didn't let it dry long enough and I had spray in the box and all in the tube. I dried the tube out with a shirt and checked the TB, there was some water marks but not like the box. I dried the filter some more with a blow dryer and went for another drive, and she is responding adequately now. My guess is it couldnt pull enough air for the water in the filter at the time.

Should I take any futher steps or be concerned with the water that potentially got through the TB?

I would think you are fine as long as you got up to operating temp.

Wont hurt anything your good. What i usually do is clean my filter at night and let it dry until next morning before i go out just to be sure its dry, or i have also used my shopvac on the blower to force air throught it
