Has anyone had experience with this kit or Rough country for that matter at all?

I was orginally looking into BDS but noticed in this months issue of Peterson's 4-wheel & Off-Road. That rough Country came out with one that appears to be fairly new for this truck? AND its under a G.

So just wondering if anyone knew the rep of this company any if they have one or similar on their trucks.

Any and all comments welcomed. Still new to the whole truck thing.

you get what you pay for . ruff country and tuff country are junk IMO . I see allot of there products rust out ect . shocks are the worst .

save some more money and do it the correct way . this is just my opinion . do you want your lifted truck to ride like a waggon or a caddy. look into carli suspensions or kore

I originally looked at Kore no lift for the truck just a leveling kit. I had looked at BDS but couldnt really see the diffrence between rough country and BDS. i al ready considered replacing the shocks as i figured those were crap.

are there any other suggestions I don't want a huge lift. somewhere around 3- 4 inches just enough in my opinion.

*update I looked at carli didnt seem to have one for the quad cab just the Mega cab are they that different?

you could do a leveling and a body lift? not sure if you are stuck on a suspension lift.

^^ not how just other questions IE I am putting on step bars that factory ride close to the body of the truck with a body lift would the space between these bars and the body be greater? then i would need to know if the bars are mounted to the body somehow or the frame or another component that would stay staionary on a body lift.

thats one question follwed by many others

the simple solution suspension lift

yes with a BL the steps would look like poop . and you would have gaps . just get a suspension lift . look at pro comp as a option .

It depends on the steps. The factory steps mount to the body, so they go right up with the lift. Most of the aftermarket steps mount to the frame, so they look like doodoo with a bl.

Things to consider with a 1500 suspension lift-

Does it come with a tcase reindexing ring?
Does it include diff drop brackets?
Does it include a crossmember drop?

If it doesn't have these three things, your drive angles are going to look terrible. Most likely, your cv's will be so bound up that they will snap the first time they catch a hard patch.

My procomp lift left the cv's as flat as stock.

Step bars nice and tight with a bodylift-
