I took my truck in for service today with my mechanic for a oil change and replacement plugs. My mechanic called me shortly later and told me he called the local Dodge dealer to buy plugs. The dealer told him my 2009 Ram 1500 Hemi came with NGK Platinum 100,000 plugs and they do not need to be replaced at 54,000miles. My mechanic pulled a plug or two and confirmed they were platinum. Was this an early year change before switching to copper plug?
