My truck does 5 chimes upon start up. I don't know if this has always been so, but lately it has been bugging me.

Will someone please listen to see how many you have upon startup next time?

I did a google search and only found info in a diesel forum, and am hoping this is not the case- They stated there could be water in fuel lines.

I also have my seatbelt chime disabled, not sure if that has any impact on it or not.

Thanks in advance.

Never mind. It's just the seat belt.

If I plug in seat belt, turn truck on- no chimes on start up. Unplugged-chimes

Mine does it. But it's just reminding me to change my oil. Lol. Congrats on answering your own question.

Thanks. And to think, all I had to do was wait a couple hours to get off work.

I should buy myself a prize
