I also have a offer for a new black Iron Cross bumper for $950. I wish I had the cash on me I would snach that thing up for the CTD

I love the light bar and all, but for that kind of a deal I think I'd let it go...that money would make up most of the difference. A color matched Iron Cross bumper would look right at home on the new truck.

You can get a d.rated tire with the same weight rating as an e tire
Once you go up to a 315 or a 35 there is alot of sidewall for a 17 so either way it's going to be soft
I had coursed c/t 35x12.5 and they were junk
Have 315 courser a/t now that have a 50k mile tread wear warranty

From what I've read so far a lot of people dislike the bfg a/t's. They attribute them to death wobble

The people blaming a tire for death wobble are silly. Death wobble is an issue of steering components, not tires.

Load Range E tires are ideal for a diesel rig, specially one purchased with the intent of towing. I ran load range E tires on my 1500 Ram and loved them. I had the look of the big off road tire, without the squishy sidewall. Loved em, will have them again!

Tires can play a role in dw. On my 2000 jeep grand cherokee I had a 6" lift and when my Goodyears hit a certain tread level every bump I hit sent the jeep into dw. Although their was plenty of tread left. I could of easily got another10-15k out of them. I put on a set of Mickey Thompson Baja claws never had a issue again.

Of all the forums I am on and with all of tye friends I have who run BFG aT's I have never even heard a single complaint about them let alone that they cause death wobble

edit: after looking, there are some guys who believe their death wobble was cause by the strength of the sidewall combined with the block trea design on the edge of bfg at's

Yeah I will get to the engine soon. I need to have the truck look a bit bigger before I start pouring thousands into the engine. So E rated tires is what I should aim to get and I will need to run 34's and not 35's unless I run a lift.

Side note. I told one of my soldiers today that I sold my truck and he asked if he could handle some personal issues after lunch and I said sure. Well he went to the dealership and purchased my red ram. Now he is asking about my light bar and new grille I have in my garage. Sad part of this is now I have to see my old truck every single day.

Truckless...
Congrats on the new truck man! That thing looks sweet!

Everybody is goin back and forth on D vs E tires, so I will give you my quick opinion. I have Mickey Thompson ATZ 305 65R17s and love them. When I bought them I didn't pay any attention to the rating, but they are in fact E rated. I now have about 25,000 miles on them and they are not even 50% worn.
