Just a word of caution, in the for what it's worth department. I installed the perma-cool kit about a year ago on my 2017. One morning after starting the truck, the oil pressure went to ZERO and I quickly shut it down. One of the hoses clamped to the engine adaptor had blown right off of the barbed fitting. I had checked and retightened each of the worm screw clamps at each oil change too. After that little episode, that luckily happened on my driveway, and not underway, I removed the relocation kit, and went back to the standard filter location. I refuse to always be concerned about the security of the hose ends on the relocation set up.
IMO, unless you use special constant tension hose clamps on the rubber hose and barbed fittings, there always will be the risk of a similar event happening, and maybe even if using those. That and as someone mentioned the rubber hose only has a limited lifespan.
The best way to do this as a "fire and forget" would be to use a high quality braided SS hose and fittings that you build to the hose on one end, and have male NPT ends that swivel on the other end. Going that route would give you hose ends that screw into the female NPT openings on both filter relocation adaptors, and because they are built to the ends of the hose itself, absolutely will not come loose, period. High quality braided SS hose also doesn't have a limited life span either to my knowledge. Only downside of this approach is cost. Top quality braided SS hose in AN10 isn't cheap, nor are the fittings I described. Probably looking at ~$150 for the parts thru Summit or other outlet. The fittings alone are around $30 each.
