Sorry to hear that. I cried like a baby when I watched my dog get put down. Stayed with her and couldn’t imagine not being there. Something I’ll never forget.

Sucked out All the ATF from the power steering reservoir & refilled with Schaeffers All-Trans & added 2 oz of HSS FR3.

Will also add 4oz to the All-Trans - with my Transfer Case service.

Yeah I used fishing line and cut behind the badges pealed/picked off the foam, then cleaned it up with adhesive remover . The passenger side and tailgate came off easy but the driver side put up a fight. The truck is a 2017 and the badges have been on for a bit but I worked through it.

last year, i rode my motorbike 10 hours away to the lake. brand new in 2016 victory magnum cruiser, my dream bike. it was raining, cold, windy and i hit this gas station caused cactus corner, a big shell truck and gas stop about 2 hours from my departure point and i was not enjoying the drive. 2 things happened as i approached the pumps. I noticed a huge puddle of water by the pump so I was sort of focused on that as i pulled up..and the way the location is it can get vicious wind gusts. So i'm looking sort of at the ground i guess as i pull up and go to put my foot down and a wind gust hits me at the same time. And before i could get the kickstand the bike starts to lean. it's 800 lb. there's no fighting it as it slowly goes over on me. so I'm lying in the puddle leg fully stuck under left side. 2 women run up and don't know what to grab to help. i say grab the right handle bar! nothing else. and we lift the bike, get the stand up and i start looking it over. main damage was the left footboard. which was bent itself but not the support thankfully...and the reflector on the hard saddlebag. so i bend do the footboard so the gearshift can move freely. it was fine. the reflector? i pull it off. and embarrassed and pissed, gas up and get on the road again. i had a number of gas stops after that, uncomfortable approaching every time.

anyway, i get to the lake and reassess the damage. by the next morning i'm up at 6am banging on the floorboard at the dock, my OCD in high gear NEEDING to fix this. got er done. little push in on the bottom but the floorboard looked and worked fine. Then, the reflector. remount or let it start to be the debadge project? i pulled everything off. Logos, reflectors. It was a black and red bike. debadging looked so good. (the reflectors especially were cheap ass. looked the reflectors dodge mass produced and used on everything after they almost went bankrupt. lol)

Quick wash and wax before our Crown King trail ride this weekend. @Pull Ya one day I’ll buff it out. I’m seriously considering a flatbed at this point. Thoughts? Yay or nay

Buffing out will make a big difference. There are some polishes out there that you can use to buff it out and then just leave it, but most you will have to put some sort of wax or sealant over the paint to protect it. I'd use a sealant where you are--it protects, lasts for 6 months and is just like putting wax on--wipe on-wipe off. You might look for some of the new stuff like Turtle Wax "Shine and Seal". It's a new product that looks promising and you can get it at Wally World for under $10. I like what you did to the front bumper!!!

We were talking about that the other day. We need to plan a trip back. Would be a good test for her new truck.

I've got a question for you in regards to scratches, I had a dog jump up against my drivers door over the weekend and left some minor scratches in it, any product in particular you would recommend? Or should I try that new turtle wax?

Haha yeah I could never do something like that, plus it wasn't really his fault completely, we had our dog in the truck in the back seat and she barked and got my friends dogs attention which led to the scratches.

Run your fingernail across the scratch, if your nail doesn't catch on the scratch then you should be able to buff it out. Any kind of polish that has a small amount of abrasive in it. You always want to use the least abrasive solution first. If you use to much abrasive you'll just introduce more scratches that need too be buffed out. When your removing a scratch or swirls I've found that it always works better(and easier) if you use a buffer. After you remove the scratch you'll need to re wax or reseal the area you buffed.

Yeah I didn't worry about it too much at the time it happened, but definitely something I have to attend to. Really have had good luck otherwise though for the last 5+ years with scratches, so I guess I was about due.
