many people have used plasti dip on chrome clad wheels. Are your wheels clean of anything that would prevent it from sticking? How cold is it?

Thread title change suggestion: “Plastidip won’t stick to my chrome clad wheel because of possible atmospheric conditions and/or poor prepping of the wheel ahead of time.”

On second thought, that’s probably too long of a title

You may have to sand the surface.

Use a degreaser, then clean with alcohol, wipe clean with a lint free cloth like an old t-shirt to get any film off then spray away. If it still is peeling right away remove and sand the surface.

I wouldn’t sand them. That’s the point of plastidip, you can take it off at some point. It sucks when you want to take it off and you have sanded, scratched up chrome underneath

Should stick if cleaned properly, and warm enough to apply :)

Im thinking weather conditions. I've never sprayed a cold can of plastidip on cold surfaces. Did you warm up the can in some water first?

having plastidipped my Mazda wheels, they have to be warm - at least 60 I should think.
