I have a 2002 dodge ram 2wd and I wanna fit 35's under it without any rubbing and I'm not sure what lift I should get. I was thinking about a 3 inch suspension lift but will that be big enough for 35's? Or will it look really stuffed?

I'd get a rough country 6" lift or a cst 7" lift depending on wheels as offsets 35s are going to be hard to run with only 3" lift

Yea I figured it would. What do you think about doing a 3 inch suspension and a 3 inch body lift? One of my gear head buddies said getting a body lift is a bad idea but it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

The newer body lifts have come a long ways and actually look good on these trucks. You can get gap guards to hide the lift blocks also.

Yeah a lot of guys on here run a 3 inch BL. I ran a 1 inch on top of my 6 inch suspension lift. No problems with it.

Problem is for almost the same cost as 3 inch suspension/3 inch BL you are right at a Rough Country Lift. Two of our vendors carrying them and can get even cheaper than they are posted on RC's website for. PM Ramhunter1 or MPC_Lifts and they can get you hooked up.

I highly recommend my lift (RC 6 inch lift), for 02-05s it is the most customizable/affordable lift down the road.

Ok awesome, thanks guys! Do you know what kind of offset wheels I'll need? I plan on getting 18's or 20's.Or maybe just a spacer would be better? Since offsets can be hard to find on certain wheels.

I just installed the RC 3" Lift kit on my 02 Ram 1500. Sits a little higher than level, probably level once it settles. I can show you some pics if you want

Minimum of 4.5 I believe. It says it on Roughcountry's web page. I ran the factory 17's with a 1.5 inch spacer for quite sometime before I could afford new wheels too.

My brother has a 02 Dodge 1500 2wd and we put 3'' spindles and 3'' springs to clear 35s

I hate how low the front of Dodge 2wd trucks sit stock...
