2011 1500 sport 5.7 strange transmission behaviour

Hi there!
I have to admit that it is my first RAM and before buying mine i rented a 2015 1500 with a 8 speed tranny.

I have and had serveral automatic gearbox cars and they behaved differently than my "new 1500 Baby".

I notice that in my 2011 5 speed tranny is no overdrive or overdrive.
When i go off the gas pedal the car start to brake slightly with the engine as the gear is stuck in the 5th gear.

As it is my first "almost new" RAM i feel that he is different than my 1995 1500.

Maybe this is normal on this transmission, but before i complain at the dealership i would like to hear some experience of other 2011 5 speed users.

Perfectly normal for it to hold your highest gear and have the engine start slowing it down once you let off the throttle.

There is a hill braking option on the setup menu. That might be turned on. Just a guess.

I have a 2011 with the 5 speed 545rfe.

Perfectly normal and I drive mine all the time in Tow/Haul mode. I get better fuel economy under normal daily driving and the truck feels much better on the highway.
