I purchased my 07 Dodge Ram Big Horn 1500 Quad Cab 5.7L HEMI 4X2 truck last December. I paid $15 grand for it and it had around 58K on the odometer. This truck looks brand new and has been very well taken care of by the previous owner. I love this truck and the power/performance of it's 5.7L HEMI motor. I have no regrets with this truck and plan to keep it a long time.
I am a member on three different forums and from what I have read, the owners who have a lot of problems do so because of how they were modified. Some used a tuner and force a particular tune, which caused a loss in communication within the PCM, or other electronics going out. Many can not get the truck to start or stay running because of the changes they made.
I thought about buying a 2010 - 2012, but I didn't want to deal with the payments that come with a $35K to $55K price tag for a good low mileage truck. I sure wasn't going to buy a 2014 and have a $600.00 to $800.00 dollar note every month.
