Why would they be any more or less difficult to set up than any of the other half dozen available ratios?

Don't all 2014+ rams come with 11.5 read ends. My 5.7 2500 had 11.5.
No endorsements, but this may get you going. These are aftermarket gears, not OEM.So, after reading this quite a bit, and researching sites like just Diffs, Diff wizard, and even AAM, i couldnt find the 4.56 for the 2500 6.4 hemi. Am i missing something? A link to what im looking for would be great!
The AAM 4:44 gear set to fit the FRONT 9.25" of the 2014 and up has a part number of D925444GS.
The AAM 4:44 gear set to fit the REAR 11.5" of the 2003 and up leaf spring vehicles have a part number of 40116812. The reason it does not fit the coil spring trucks is because the 11.5" gear sets for the 2500 are not interchangeable with the 11.5" gear sets for the 3500. The pinion gear, pinion bearing and tail bearing diameters are different.
Still not impossible to do with a bit more work for the coil spring 2500 if someone wanted to do the swap.
Thanks for this reply. Been wondering what the difference was from the 2500 coil to the 3500 leaf.....now I know.
They are easily changed. Just a bit more work while you are in there while changing gears anyway. A non-issue IMO. I'll be doing the 4:44 swap here in the next few months.
Are you doing the work or having it done? If you're not doing it are you having a shop or the dealership do it? If dealership will they still honor the factory warranty with the new size OEM gears? Lastly. ....final cost?
Thanks for your replies, I'm not a mechanic so it's not something I'm educated on. All your information is invaluable.
Hey I'm new to the forum but my truck was/is currently the Guinea Pig for nitro gears as far as what pinion bearing the gas trucks use. It should be done Thursday and my installer is gonna let them now exactly what they need to put in the kits for the gas ram 2500's. They just sent him a few different bearings so he could choose the right one. I went with 4.88 for my 35's.
Honestly the only reason I chose 4.88 is because when these tires wear out I'm going to 37's or a skinny 38. Also my truck is not a daily driver. I'm getting it tomorrow at 930 am. I'm so damn anxious. Lol. Just pissed it's gonna be raining.
