This body style has always been one of my favorite’s. I had a 90 3/4 ton 2wd that I loved. It was stolen and found 6 months later in a wrecking yard stripped down to nothing. [emoji2959][emoji3062]

I love that body style, mine was a 1985 4x4 which is a W150, the D model was for 2 wheel drive.

Always liked this style, looks to be in great shape.
It is in amazing shape. No rust anywhere. Old man had it and parked it in a garage when he bought a new ram. Another guy got it and did a tune up on it put the lift kit on it and redid the rear end and is selling it for 4500.

looks good. run a wire from the coil - into the cab like you are installing a tach and hook it to switch that grounds the wire when it is switched on. truck won't start when you ground the - side of the coil. also if you are looking for a good switch for stuff like that these are good but you need to use a relay to ground the coil. they work through plastic and glass.

truck looks 'meaty'. only word I can think to sum it up. that is a lucky/good buy at 80K miles.

the old dodges always look a bit better with a lift on it. Wish my old trucks were 4x4s

yes they do but it is more whether it is practical for your needs. i would rather have a 2wd any day of the week. they ride a lot nicer and are way easier to load. the 4x4 is nice if you live where you need it but they ride like a lumber wagon. i know i was wondering if it was part of why my tailbone was starting to feel bruised the other day. about the only thing that changed was the vehicle i was driving.

So the good and the bad after driving it home last night.
I drove it about 150 miles home last night and it ran like a top. Only problem is seeing as the engine is completely stock it lacks in power quite a bit. Also the a.c. does not work ( was aware before I bought it) no big deal. The doors don't lock and the windows will come down if you pull on them ( first thing that will be fixed). I didn't realise the difference between the d150 and w150. This is 4x4 so it is a w150. Also the 4x4 works as does the cruise control.
All in all I think it was a steal for $4000.

hahaha there is not much you can do about the power unless you spend tons of money. they aren't meant to be fast. sounds like power door lock motors are locked up which is not surprising. almost sounds like you may have a stripped power window motor gear. i got the same problem with my 1 ramcharger's 1 window. it is the next thing i need to fix before it gets too hot and i can't drive it.

Yeah when I press the button to roll up the window I can hear the motor popping. As far as power I dont necessarily want alot of power but I would like to be able to do 65 without feeling like I'm maxing out the engine. Probably just gonna start of with a new breather, maybe a new carb, and then headers and exhaust. Also I don't think ive mentioned but it has a 318.
