Brake/ABS light on

Couple weeks ago I start using 4x4 in my truck since we have a lot of snow and where I hunt you won't be able to get to with rear wheel drive only. Couple days after Brakes/ABS light lights up. I scan for codes and nothing shows there. Also every time I take the car after it's parked overnight , there is a sound coming from the back , that sounds like brakes are binding or something. But it goes away after a short drive. How to check why the brakes/abs light is on? I assume front bearings are bad because the truck drives louder the faster I go.
