Alright so I was starting to hear some noise up front. I pulled the belt and started wiggling pulleys, and the water pump had some play so it was time to replace it. Got the truck apart and water pump back on.uploadfromtaptalk1437347550186.jpg I was about to put the cluth and fan on and remembered I was just talking about hooking up some e fans, so I run to the store and get a thermostat to control the fans and cut up the e fan's shroud to fit in the stock dodge one.uploadfromtaptalk1437347713508.jpg It looked good, got it on, and walla the sum ***** doesnt pull enough for the dodge[emoji35], so I run out and buy a new clutch for my fan and put it on. Now it's done and the truck it's good but, the temp is the same as with the e fan's[emoji58]. Come to find out the thermostat I got is a 195° and I guess before me the truck had a cooler one and the e fan's would have been fine. The trucks temp now sits a needle above 200° and my question is if this is normal and what yalls truck sit at?

Heh...pulley play in the water pump. I know all about that.

My truck sits a good two needles under 210, so probably about 195-200

I'm at 180 unless I have the a/c on or I'm on it pretty hard, then turn the second fan on and we're back at 180.

So do you guys think I should drop in the 180 thermostat, or let it ride?

I'd let it ride until you got back in that area (swapping intake, cam, timing cover gasket, etc..) or if it starts overheating. It's kind of a pain to get to the thermostats on these trucks without making a mess.

Alright I'll let it go. It was a pain in the ass, I ended up removing the alternator so I could clean up in there good enough to put the new one back in.

Little update, I finally got around to fixing my bumpers saggy tit ends and repainting the plastics black uploadfromtaptalk1440182009647.jpguploadfromtaptalk1440182101749.jpg every tab that held the ends down were broken so a little panel bond solved that. In other news are any of you Florida boys going to the 4 wheel parts truck and jeep show on Saturday?

So over the weekend I decided that beds suck so I took mine offuploadfromtaptalk1444678905431.jpguploadfromtaptalk1444679314837.jpg but then decided to change what I thought was a failing fuel pump. It wasn't, it was a worn shrader valve that would let air in and take forever for the truck to start.

Little update, turns out it wasn't a shader valve. Ended up being a computer, I've been hearing a whining noise and it came down to that or the ckps and that **** sucker is hard to get to. Looked on craigslist and found a computer for 50 bucks. Slapped it in and she's been fine since.
