Center Console

I would really like to get a Center Console.. Since now I added the double din raido I have like nowhere to put stuff but inside the console...... not digging that.

I'm looking for a console like this one... Anyone know where I can pick one up?

They are called business console.....to get one through the dealer its ****. Even on ebay once you find one in the right color you are looking at a lot of money unfortunately.

Just build one. I did, JJ did using the front of that thing. It is in Wendy's truck now. They will both chime in when they see this. I've got a 12" sub in mine and its the best sounding way to go in our trucks. :********:

your going to have to build one they are way to much money for even a used one on ebay i looked a couple months back the guy wanted like 500 for it and it was all cracked and beat up.

i think this winter im going to build my own center console and see what happens from there. i can build it and make it the way i want it.

It takes a lot of designing and practice to make a good center console. How do I know? I just made one, and ended up hating the damned thing. I'll be messing around with it a LOT before I make it this time. I advise buying a bunch of cardboard boxes and make different templates.

Make sure you get the arm rest height right (For me, the same level as the door arm rest)
Don't forget about accessing the things in the dash etc. These all sound 'well durh' until you go and build one, you get excited about it, and create a major design flaw.

this was a problem on my center sub box i made, i put the oem arm rest/storage thing on it and it was way too high.

I have no prior experience at building anything like a console, but I think that would be a pretty cool project (although time would be a major factor for me). You can build it exactly the way you want it - the sub idea is cool and/or an integrated GPS/backup screen - all ideas I would fully entertain.

I love my console/sub box that I got from JJ. Originally just got it for the front part but now I can't do without the sub lol sounds awesome.
