First I start off with a regular car wash using Meguires gold class wash. Then I follow that up with a claybar using Mother's Showtime as the lubricant. Once done, I go over the truck with Mothers Carnauba cleaner wax. After that, a final coat using Meguires NTX 2.0 wax. This will give your truck an amazing shine. I do this twice a year, and in between this process, I clean the truck using Mother's Showtime spray detailer. Only time I ever use water to wash the truck is if I have mud caked on the paint. Otherwise, I stick to the speed detailers.

I have a black truck and if you don't, this doesn't really apply to you but I was my truck with something called the turtle wax black box. It has a pre-wax, detailer spray, and black carnuba wax. I just got it to try it and I thought it was gonna be bullshit but somehow it really did make my truck..."blacker" lol. Love it. I always start out with a regular wash though, and I use turtle wax ice soap for that. RainX on the windows and if I notice a lot of streaks I use newspaper on the windows. Its a trick I picked up from a guy at a Carshow. For some reason newspaper doesn't leave streaks lol. And for tires I use turtle wax something, I forgot the name but it's actually like a wax for your tires. Lasts at least a month and doesn't sling up the side of your truck. Great stuff. Haha oops I'll fix the meguires. I tried to edit it and make it a multiple post, but it won't let me now. Let me mess with it a little more.

I love ice....When i 1st got my ram i used some stuff from mcguires as a paint restorer kinda stuff...Trk was owned by some tech geek in an area near salt water so the finish kinda lost its luster...I used my cheap buffer and the mcguires paint restore stuff(bottle # 2 i think)and buffed the shit outta it then topped it off with ice...Usually its a wash then wax process so its protected i guess..Almost got that new car gleam to it..I bought it used in july with just under 25000 kms(15000 mi)..Good thing about ice is that it NEVER leaves that white residue on black if you make a slip...
I have seen that ice has a kit out for the black color to,supposed to be specific to black and really brings out the blk more..Saw it at wallmart if anyone is lookin..
Gonna have to get the blk for my bike and the clear for my tango
