I just got back from Ocracoke Island (Outer Banks, NC ) and the beaches are deep sugar sand. I aired down to about 25 and the truck laughed at the sand. Sometimes I used 4lo and locked in “rear only” so I could turn but had a blast.
I grew up in Texas so I have 4 shelled the entire Texas Gulf coast from S. Padre Island ( down by Mexico ) all the way to Crystal beach and I only mention this because the worst sand I have driven on was Ocracoke and the PW ruled it. Like others have said you have to be smart and Air Down.
