I'd go 5" without hesitation. The 5" tips also tend to deepen the exhaust note for the better.
Yep, as soon as I cranked it after putting them on. Wasn't expecting it at all. Walked around the back and idle tone was deeper. On the highway wide open the sound is different too. In a good way.I see you have the super 44....could you really tell a deeper sound with the 5" tips?
I don't think the stocks are 4". They seem smaller than that to me. 3" or 3.5" maybe.

Sorry man, they are 4". I've measured them. Go measure them yourself. They are deceiving bc the bumper cutouts are like 6" and the exhaust tip is 4" OD and the rolled edge goes inward.
No I believe you. I'd always just thought they were smaller. I just ordered a set of the new slash cut 5" black Carvens.

I'm doing the dual exhaust setup on my truck,Going to get stock hemi exhaust.For the tips do I get weld on or clamp on tips?Probably going to get stainless tips.Also is the stock hemi exhaust stainless.I'm going to get the 4" tips,want to keep cab as quiet as possible.
