Lots of guys running bills at 2.8 with no issues ,I'd go for it and just keep an eye on your UCA ball joints . I've never heard of the upper ball joints just blowing out due to the bills set to 2.8 max , if you start seeing movement or separation @ the upper ball joint just order the Mevotech UCA'S from Rock Auto here on the site as a preferred Vender , the ship fast and they are beefy as hell compared to the OEM UCA'S ,and they are only $45.00 each .

Just an update. I put the Bil's up to 2.8 and had the truck near level. Loved the way it looked and hated the way it rode. The truck was noticeably stiffer and had a vibration at highway speeds.
So I put the Bil's back to 2.1 and took the 1" TGC spacer out. The truck now sits 1/4 inch higher in the rear. The pictures up top are the currents. It really surprised me that it took 2" of additional lift to level the 4" Superlift.

It rides perfect. Very smooth, no vibrations up to 60mph so far.

I have a great ride ( better than stock! ! ) and no vibrations @ highway speeds up to 80 mph.

Just putting this info. Out there .

That's cool , years ago I had a new 06 f150 and all I did was level it and some 33'' toyos and it got a little stiffer but not much but you could feel the tires when coming to a stop around 5 to 10 mph .

I'll bet you a nickle to a dollar it rides like crap & is horrible on fuel,i know because i've been there done that, but hey good luck man as it will look incredibly good.

My truck now rides better than stock, due to the Bilstien's. My MPG went done, but 14mpg is not all that bad for for 35's.

My truck rides better than stock as well , with the bills installed .
I'm still on stock tires and my mpgs are the same 19.5-20mpgs (evic#s )

I think it must be a combination of things that gave him the vib and not just the 2.8 setting on the Bils because it seems a lot of guys are running it at 2.8 and haven't heard about a vib issues . The vib thing scares me because I got rid of my 2014 Silverado for my 15 ram because of my Silverado vibrating which is a well known issue for them with no suspension mods and no help at all with them .

I told my wife I wasnt gonna lift my new to me 2013 Ram like I did my '05 Silverado...but you might have made me a liar :D
No worries buddy , " wives " pretty much expect us to do things differently that we say ! I've had two wives , so I speak from experience. ..

Now you can lift your new to you truck with confidence! LOL !
