First Pickup

We are a couple weeks out from our truck arriving, a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4 crew cab with the Cummins diesel.

We plan to use it to tow our Airstream 27' trailer. I'm retired, and this is a first for us. Never had a pickup before, but looking forward to it.

We ordered the truck on 17 August, apparently it is on the train bound for the Tampa distribution center 11/13-11/19 at the dealer.

Looking forward to collecting our Airstream in New Jersey and getting on the road again.

Well, we picked it up yesterday, very pleased so far.

Two weeks in, love the truck.

We towed the trailer 1,175 miles from NJ to Tampa with zero issues.

Very happy with the Cummins engine; love the exhaust brake.

Beautiful truck and Airstream. My wife and I are restoring (pretty much rebuilding from scratch actually) an 18' 1954 Silver Dome and just bought a 1500 Big Horn to tow it when it's done. Enjoy your travels!
