Nice looking truck!

I'm also looking at leveling kits. I live near Vancouver in Canada and was quoted around $500 for a 2" level and alignment.. Plus 12% tax... RIDICULOUS :shakehead: not happening. Call the Les Schwab just accross the border - $314 all in :)

I am doing the 2" HBS kit, Just ordered it.

How long can I drive around before an alignment? I mean is it really out of wack when you put these spacers on or would I have a few days to get an alignment done.

when I did my first one I drove it home from my friend's house, then to the shop the next morning. About 50 miles total. That was it.........get it aligned ASAP.

Mine wasnt bad at all, obviously just the toe/tow(spelling?) from bringing the front up. I took it immediatly for the alignment just because thats me (not wanting to take any risk as to screw up anything) but i have talked to a lot of people and the general consensus is that with a level it will take a while before you start seeing funny tread wear, one guy said he didnt do it for a year before he noticed . Still the smart this to do, like JJ said, do it ASAP!

Put the 2" on yesterday.

I had to go out and rent a spring compressor to get the shock back in.

I saw no way to get it back in without one. Am wondering now if one of the steps should be to take off the axle bolt also to let the a arm hang down more.

It took alot of prying to get that back in there.

When I put my rcx kit in I found the easiest way was to take the brake caliper off and unbolt the upper A arm. That gave enough play to slip the strut assembly back in
